My new love

Whew! Been a bit of a whirlwind. The most exciting thing that I can say is that I GOT A PUPPY!!! Weeee!
His name is Landon and he's a Shepard Husky cross and is 10 months old. I am in LOVE!!! <3 Sigh. He's such a sweet, loving puppy. I got him from WHARF and he already makes my life! I feel so content and happy. When I look at him, I just feel so protective and happy. There really are no words. At least none that I am capable of conveying right now. 

I've wanted a dog for as long as I can remember and now I finally have one. He's settling in slowly but we've already bonded and he follows me around everywhere. Is it sad that when I went out this weekend all I wanted to do was get back home and hang out with my pup? Don't get me wrong, I had fun when I went out but I just wanted to make sure that Landon was okay and adjusting properly. We don't know what happened to him before he ended up at WHARF but we figured that someone must have beaten him. He's extremely terrified of men. He won't bark or growl but instead he cowers and runs away. That breaks my heart. Who could ever beat an animal? Looking at Landon, all I want to do is play with him and love him and make him happy. I sound like a new mother. I guess in a way I am. Landon's my baby. I know it's going to be a challenge to train and socialize him, but it is definitely going to be worth it.
